Victoria Orton Warranty

Victoria Orton offers a warranty against faulty workmanship and /or faulty materials for the lifetime of the product* commencing on the date the product was originally delivered to, or collected by the purchaser and is valid only to the original purchaser of the product as indicated on the original sales invoice. This warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear, or damage caused by abuse, misuse or negligence. Failure to comply with care and maintenance instructions may void your warranty.

*2 years when used as intended and whilst product is still in production.

Waterproof Guarantee

We offer a guarantee that Victoria Orton waterproof blankets will remain waterproof for a minimum of 40 washes.

During this guarantee period your blanket should be washed and cared for properly as per the care guidelines (30º wash, hang to dry or tumble dry low heat). Once these guidelines are followed, the waterproofing on your blanket should last the duration of your guarantee. Incorrect washing of blankets can be a major cause of the internal waterproof membrane breaking down. Equally the storing and care of a blanket is also important. Blankets should not be exposed to prolonged UV or extremely high temperatures. 

In addition to the other exclusions stated on this page, Victoria Orton specifically excludes from the warranty;

•  Small manufacturing irregularities that do not affect the performance of the waterproof blanket.
•  Comfort issues relating to the customers preferences
•  Fit of the manchester item.

All waterproof blankets should be washed by following our blanket care instructions.

Failure to follow blanket care instructions will void the warranty. 

During the warranty period, if Victoria Orton is satisfied that material or workmanship is faulty, it will repair or replace the product at its option. However, the warranty period will not be extended or changed as a result of repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty or otherwise.

Victoria Orton will cover transport costs arising from replacement under the terms of this Warranty during the first 12 months of the Warranty period. After 12 months transport costs are to be met by the purchaser. 

GENERAL

The company reserves the right not to handle items for replacement if, in its opinion, they have been tampered with or misused by the purchaser beyond reasonable wear or if the product has been physically damaged intentionally or due to accident and/or neglect: including burns and cuts.This warranty is in addition to, and not in substitution for, the right of the purchaser conferred by the trade practices act and/or the legislation of any State or Territory.
