Victoria Orton Warranty

General Warranty Information

Victoria Orton provides a warranty against faulty workmanship and/or materials for the lifetime of the product*, starting from the date of delivery or collection by the original purchaser, as indicated on the original sales invoice. This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by abuse, misuse, or negligence. Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions may void this warranty.

*Lifetime warranty applies for up to 2 years when the product is used as intended and while it remains in production.


Waterproof Guarantee & Care Guidelines

Waterproof Bed Blanket

Waterproof Guarantee:

Remains waterproof for at least 40 washes.

Care Guidelines:

  • Wash with detergent in cool/cold water at a maximum temperature of 30°C (86°F).
  • Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
  • Repeat the drain and spin cycle if excess water remains.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry in a shady spot.
  • Do not tumble dry on high heat, as this may damage the waterproof membrane.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Waterproof Bed Pad

Waterproof Guarantee:

Remains waterproof for a minimum of 300 washes.

Care Guidelines:

  • Wash with detergent in cool/cold water or at a maximum temperature of 60°C (140°F).
  • Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
  • Repeat the drain and spin cycle if excess water remains.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry in a shady spot.
  • Do not tumble dry on high heat, as this may damage the waterproof membrane.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Small manufacturing irregularities that do not affect product performance.
  • Comfort issues related to personal preferences.
  • Fit issues with Manchester items.

Warranty Terms

During the warranty period, if Victoria Orton determines that material or workmanship is faulty, the product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

The warranty period will not be extended or altered due to repair or replacement.

Transport costs for replacements will be covered by Victoria Orton during the first 12 months. After 12 months, transport costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Products that have been tampered with, misused, intentionally damaged, or neglected (e.g., burns, cuts, or exposure to extreme conditions) will not be eligible for warranty claims.

General

Victoria Orton reserves the right to decline warranty claims for products that do not comply with the care guidelines or are damaged due to neglect. This warranty is in addition to, and not in substitution for, the rights of the purchaser under the Trade Practices Act and/or the legislation of any State or Territory.
